                       1999 Monastic Visit

The Minneapolis Meditation Group was privileged to have Br. Dominic lead two services during July of 1999. Br. Dominic officially dedicated our new altar during a Sunday morning service on July 11, 1999 with the topic of his inspiring talk being "Divine Friendship." We felt very blessed and privileged to have him with us. Thank you Br. Dominic!  

Here you can see Br. Dominic next to our new altar that he dedicated during the Sunday morning service.  The beautiful new altar had been unveiled in the fall of 1998. Local devotees constructed both the altar and golden lotus emblem with loving devotion to God and Guru. We even needed overflow seating in our bookroom plus a rented speaker system.  We had a wonderful time socializing with Br. Dominic at a potluck following the service, including food catered from the Taste of India Restaurant Here is Br. Dominic with local devotees following dedication of new altar on July 11, 1999. The many devotees at the potluck had a wonderful time.  In addition to the dedication service, Br. Dominic lead a Thursday evening service on July 1st. Here he is leading the July 1st meditation service in our chapel at 4524 Excelsior Blvd. in St. Louis Park.
